Gambaran Pengetahuan Tentang Higiene Personal Saat Menstruasi Pada Remaja Putri di MTSS Miftahul Falah Diski

Abstract

Knowledge is the factor determining the personal cleanliness during menstruation. The research aims to find about the knowledge description of personal hygiene during menstruation period in female adolescents of MTSS Miftahul Falah Diski. This descriptive research is conducted using quantitative approach. The research population is students of MTSS Miftahul Falah Diski who have had menstruation and are willing to be the respondents with a total of 100 people. The samples are taken using total sampling technique which is 100 respondents. The result indicates that the majority of respondents have a sufficient and insufficient knowledge level of personal hygiene which is reflected by the 63 respondents (63%). Only a few of the respondents have a good knowledge level. It is suggested that every school provide School Health Unit to facilitate and optimize the school to give health information to the female adolescents especially regarding personal hygiene during menstruation.
