Pelaksanaan PHBS Rumah Tangga dalam Upaya Penerapan Wisata Sehat di Desa Sipaku Area, Kabupaten Asahan
Abstract
A tourist village defines as a village developed by the tourism sector to show an authentic rural atmosphere, interaction, and culture to the tourists. The trend of tourism causes travel disease to become the main focus in implementing CHSE based healthy tourism (hygiene, health, safety, and environment) in order to guarantee the health and safety of all tourism activities. The research aims to identify the implementation of PHBS in the household setting as an attempt to implement healthy tourism in Desa Sipaku Area, Asahan Regency. This descriptive research is conducted from November 2022 to May 2023 with the people of Desa Sipaku Area as the population. 76 respondents are used as samples collected using the non-probability sampling technique which is purposive sampling. Data are collected using questionnaires. The results, in terms of the implementation of PHBS in the household setting of Desa Sipaku Area, indicate that 70 respondents (92.1%) fall into a good category, 6 respondents (7.9%) fall into a sufficient category, and there are no respondents fall into an insufficient category. The implementation of PHBS in the household setting of Desa Sipaku Area in 2022 has run well. Nearly all the people of Desa Sipaku Area are able to implement ten indicators of PHBS in their daily lives and they are ready to develop a healthy tourist village.
