Stroke refers to a disorder that impairs brain function that potentially results in disability or even death. The disability caused by a stroke can be in the form of sudden limb weakness or hemiparesis. A decline in joint flexibility brought on by movement disorders might compromise balance and raise the risk of falling in stroke patients. Range of motion (ROM) activities is regarded as adequate rehabilitation exercises to prevent impairment in stroke patients. This systemic literature review intends to delve into the effect of range of motion (rom) on the stroke patients' muscle strength. This information gathered are from pertinent journals utilizing online databases including Google Scholar, PubMed, and ScienceDirect. The PRISMA checklist Flow Diagram is carried out to determine 9 out of 973 articles for this study. The result of the study indicates that the effect of range of motion on the improvement of patient's muscle strength is significant. The intervention of range of motion (ROM) can be early performed and continuously provided to stroke patients. The delivery of ROM interventions can also be altered to meet the demands of the patient.
