dc.description.abstractThe excessive use of gadget with haigh intensity is one of factors causing the speech delay in pre-school children. This research employs literature review by collecting data in the from of articles through Google Scholar, and Pub Med database. Articles published from 2018-2023 are selected based on inclusion and exclusion criteria, consisting aims 10 articles namely 9 articles from Google Scholar and 1 articles from Pub Med. The research aims to explain the correlation between gadget use intensity and speech delay in pre-school children. The result of literature review indicates that there is a correlation between gadget use intensity and speech delay in pre-school children that is caused by the high intensity and frequency of gadget use and the lack of parental supervision. Parental supervision is highly required during the gadget use in pre-school children in order to minimalize the risk factor of speech delayen_US
