dc.description.abstract | Sexual violence is mostly experienced by children which is triggered by a low understanding of sex education. The cases of sexual violence can be prevented by providing sex education. Several methods of providing sex education are namely through games, animated videos, seminars, roleplays, books. The research aims to find out a variety of sex education methods to increase the knowledge of school-age children in preventing sexual violence. A literature review is used in this research using the databases of Google Scholar Pubmed, Garuda. 12 journals (national and international) are obtained from keywords search and selection assessments. Based on 12 reviewed journals, it indicates that various methods of sexual education through games, animated videos, roleplays, books, and seminars can increase the children's knowledge about sexual violence. Therefore, teachers and parents should give sexual education to children from early age in order to prevent sexual violence. This is because children who do not have sexual knowledge tend to be more likely to get sexual violence than children who do. | en_US |
