    Abstract
Halaban Monitoring Post is a post-restoration Gunung Leuser National Park (GLNP) area and one of the plants that grow is the Ficus species as food for Sumatran Orangutans (Pongo abelii). It is necessary to map the distribution of Ficus species through the use of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV) as a carrying capacity for Orangutan habitat at the Halaban Monitoring Post. This study aims to map Ficus species as food for Sumatran Orangutans (Pongo abelii) in the secondary forest of Halaban Monitoring Post, Gunung Leuser National Park. This research was conducted for 3 months (February-April 2023). The method used in this research is purposive sampling and processing of aerial photographs that produce orthomosaic then continued with Object Based Image Analysis (OBIA). The results of the study were 308 aerial photographs at an altitude of 80 m that produced orthomosaic with a coverage area of 12 ha. There are 2 types of Ficus identified, namely Ficus fistulosa and Ficus hispida. With an overall accuracy value at a segmentation scale of 50 of 86% (percent), the overall accuracy value at a scale of 100 of 87% (percent), while at a segmentation scale of 150 of 96% (percent). Based on the acquisition of classification accuracy values at each segmentation scale, it shows that the smaller the segmentation scale used, the more objects are produced and vice versa. Mapping the type of Ficus as food for Sumatran Orangutans (Pongo abelii) through the use of UAVs greatly supports the world of Sumatran Orangutan (Pongo abelii) conservation
