Currently, technological developments are growing rapidly, one of which is online games. Numerous people are eager to play online games for longer time due to their appealing appearance, which makes players forget about other activities and tasks. The objective of this research is to determine whether there is a correlation between playing game online and students' learning interest at SMP Negeri 1 Porsea, Porsea Sub-district. The research employs a quantitative research method with a cross-sectional approach. The sampling technique employs a non probability technique with a purposive sampling method involving 76 respondents with data obtained through filling out a questionnaire. The hypothesis test (t-test) indicates that haunt (3.995) > tok (1.999); Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected, which proves that there is an effect of playing game online on students' learning interest. The sign of the correlation coefficient is negative, which shows that correlation between the two variables is opposite or inversely proportional. Therefore, the more time spent playing online games, the less interested the students are in learning; conversely, the less time spent playing online games, the more interested the students are in learning.
