dc.description.abstract | Sex education in teenagers is important in preparing them to face their physical, emotional, and social changes. Free sex has high risk concerning the spread of venereal disease and their unplanned pregnancy. Without using any protective device or safety sexual intercourse, those who are involved in free sex will have a high risk of getting affected by serious health problems. The objective of the research is to analyze the correlation between teenagers' knowledge of sex education and the risk of free sex in teenagers at SMA Negeri 3. Binjai. The population is 112 teenagers, and all of them are used as the samples, taken by using total sampling technique. The research employs descriptive quantitative correlation approach. The data are analyzed by using Spearman correlation test. The result of the research shows that 61 respondents (64.5%) are in good category in their knowledge of sex education, and 72 respondents (64.3%) are in the category of not having the risk of free sex. The result of the analysis of the two variables shows that p-value (0.03) <a (0.05) which indicates that there is the correlation between teenagers' knowledge of sex education and the risk of free sex in teenagers at SMA Negeri 3, Binjai. | en_US |
