This quantitative research employs a cross-sectional approach and data obtained are analyzed univariately and bivariately using the Pearson test. The research samples are the people of Seberang Fishing Village, Medan Belawan Subdistrict with a total of 30 respondents. The results indicate that the level of knowledge r = 0.756, prevention attitude r = 0.937, and P-Value = 0.01, meaning that there is a strong and significant correlation between the level of knowledge and prevention attitude. It is suggested that health workers to be more active in providing HIV/AIDS information to the public so they can prevent or maintain their health from HIV/AIDS.
