    Hubungan Lama Penggunaan Gadget dengan Prestasi Belajar Siswa Sekolah Dasar di SD Negeri 060849 Kota Medan

    Abstract
    Gadget is one of the real forms of today's science and technology development. It is recently used by school students to access their learning materials. Learning achievement refers to the outcomes or ability rate achieved by students after undergoing the learning and teaching process for a certain length of time, shall it be either changes in behavior, skill, or knowledge. The objective of this research is to analyze the correlation between the duration of gadget use and learning achievement in the students at SDN (State Elementary School) 060849 Medan. This research employs a quantitative method with correlational analysis and uses a sample size of 91 students. The results of the research demonstrate that 51.6% of the respondents use gadgets < 2 hours, whereas 48.4% of them use gadgets> 2 hours. As to the results of the student's learning achievement, it is found that the learning achievement of 22 respondents (24.2%), 16 respondents (17.6%), 13 respondents (14.3%), and 14 respondents (15.4%) fall into very poor category, very good category, perfect category, poor category, and good category respectively. Based on the chi-square analysis results on the correlation between students' duration of gadget use and their learning achievement showing p-value 0.043, indicating that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. It is concluded that there is a correlation between the duration of gadget use and the learning achievement of the students at SDN 060849 Medan.
