dc.description.abstract | This research aims to find out more detailed and in-depth analysis of the form and structure of Soerkam's song works. This research uses a qualitative approach with music analysis methods. Data collection was carried out by literature study, recording, interviews and laboratory work. To analyze the music contained in the three Soerkam song works, the author uses the weighted scale theory put forward by William P Malm. The results obtained show that the Soerkam music group is a group with the world music genre, namely a type of music that has slight advantages in terms of musical material compared to other popular music. This music combines several ethnic and modern elements. What is characteristic of this Soerkam music group is the wide tonal area from the lowest note to the highest note. The strength of the music lies in the dynamics of the arrangement, has a fast and slow tempo, has a character rich in chords. can be seen from the modulation of the basic tone shift. | en_US |
