Analisis Relasi Makna dalam Cerpen /al-amīratu wa ṡ-ṡu’bānu/ “Sang Putri dan Pangeran Ular” Karya Muhammad ‘Aṭiyyah Al-Ibrasyi

Abstract

This study aims to explain the meaning relations contained in the short story ة الأمير نو الثعبا /al-amīratu wa ṡ-ṡu'bānu/ ‘The Princess and the Snake Prince’. This research is a qualitative research with a library research approach. The theory used in this study is the theory of semantic analysis put forward by Umar and Nur. This research uses a descriptive method and data was collected using listening techniques and note-taking techniques. The results of the analysis of meaning relations in the short story نالأميرة و الثعبا /al-amīratu wa ṡ-ṡu'bānu/ are include 8 اَلتَّرَادُفُ /attarādufu/ synonyms, with details of 2 ف) الكامل التراد / al-kāmil at-tarāduf) and 6 synonyms the same (ؤالتكاف /at-takāfu'u); 19 التَّضادَُ /attadhādu/ antonyms with details of 4 absolute oppositions, 5 polar oppositions, 9 relational oppositions, and 1 compound opposition; 1 اَلإِشْتِرَاكُ اللَّفْظِي /isytirāk al-lafzi/ polysemy; 8 hypernym and 32 hyponym. The conclusions obtained from this research are the discovery of meaning relations of synonyms, antonyms, polysemy, hypernyms and hyponyms. Meanwhile, meaning relations that are not found in short stories are close synonyms ف) شبه التراد /syibhu at-tarāduf), antonyms or hierarchical opposition, and غُمُوْضُ /gumūḍu/ ambiguity.
