dc.description.abstractThis research is conduction to analyze the factors that influence people's behavior in using pleonic language errors and contamination on online shopping group Facebook accounts based on sociolinguistic studies because it is considered to be a good and correct Indonesian language structure. This research is considered to be damaging the good and correct Indonesian language order. This mixed methods research, the data are used is in the form of words, phrases and sentences that lead to pleonasm and contamination. Data are gathered using note-taking techniques, substitution methods and questionnaires distributing. The results indicate that there are 39 forms of pleonasm that are frequently used by netizens in online shopping groups consisting of 10 words (25.6%), phrase and 5 sentence (12.9%), while there are 12 forms of contamination used by netizens in online shopping groups, 5 word (41.6%), 2 phrase (16.7%) and 5 sentence (41.6%). In addition, the factors influencing netizens to use contamination and pleonasm on the Facebook accounts of online shopping group are namely the factorsof mother tongue, age, motivation and habit, environmental. The conclusion in this research is that there are 39 language errors in the form of pleonasm, 12 forms of contamination language errors and the factors that influence netizens to use language errors are mother tongue factors, age factors, motivation and habit factors, environmental factors. Therefore, it indicates that netizens of online shopping group use langguage errors during group comunication.en_US
