Faktor-Faktor yang Mempengaruhi Jumlah Kelahiran di Kabupaten Simalungun Tahun 2021 Menggunakan Metode Regresi Linier Berganda

Abstract

The Multiple Linear Regression method is used to find the effects and predict two or more predictors from a reference variable. The linear regression equation which contains several independent variables X and one dependent variable Y forms a new regression equation called the multiple regression equation. In its application to determine the factors that influence the number of births in Simalungun Regency, this method is influenced by the magnitude of the regression coefficient value of each independent variable. Then from each large regression coefficient value will be used to determine how much influence the independent variable has on the dependent variable. From the calculation results, it is obtained that the regression coefficient value of the number of stairs variable (X1) is minus (-0.002) which has a negative effect on the number of births (Y), the regression coefficient value of the population variable (X2) is positive (0.011) which has a positive effect on the number of births ( Y), and the regression coefficient value of the variable number of medical personnel (X3) is minus (-0.656) which has a negative effect on the number of births (Y).
