Abstract

A tourist village is a village that has unique potential and unique tourist attractions, both in terms of the physical environment of the rural nature and the socio-cultural life of the community. Where Sibandang Village has the potential of the heritage of Rumah Godang ,Batu Kursi,Harbangan Huta,Tugu Aritonang,Industy Rumah Ulos,Perkebunan Mangga,dan Ritual Hoda – hoda which has historical and cultural values and still has cultural values that are still maintained and has been designated as a Cultural Tourism Village in North Tapanuli Regency. Therefore it is necessary to investigate how. The purpose of this research is to find out what is the attraction in developing the attractiveness of the Sibandang Tourism Village and the role of the community in developing the attractiveness of the Sibandang Tourism Village. The research method used is library research and research by collecting data and field observations. The attractiveness of the Sibandang Tourism Village has a lot of potential but still has some drawbacks. Sibandang Tourism Village has the potential for tourism development in North Tapanuli district, especially in the field of Tourism Village.
