dc.description.abstract | The purpose of this research is to facilitate human labor in the problem of cleaning solar panels. This cleaning tool will automatically clean the solar panels if they are covered with dust and dirt. Apart from depending on the concentration of dust, this tool will also work between 06.00 WIB and 08.00 WIB. The process carried out in this design begins with the manufacture of a prototype solar panel automatic cleaning tool, which is used to create a dust intensity and time control system. Programmable Digital Timer is used to program the tool, and it works to adjust the system time automatically from Monday to Sunday. The one-channel relay module drives the cleaner (duster) motor by acting as a slide wheel. The dust sensor and RTC module are used in the reading process, and a servo motor drives the wipers. It uses Arduino IDE with C programming as the controller. Due to the difference in the average voltage of about 44.6% in the time test and 73% in the test based on the dust content, the data collection findings indicate that this tool is effective in cleaning solar panels. As required, the controller programming can be modified. The concept to construct a tool that employs wipers as cleaners and sprays water on the surface of solar panels as an initial wash was inspired by studies utilizing wipers and research on cleaning systems that wash solar panels. The technical system developed for this study is based on dust sensors and has morning and evening time settings that are specified. It is anticipated that the automated cleaner would improve solar panel cleaning effectiveness. | en_US |
