Cultivating in rice fields with an overlapping pattern of lowland rice with carp is a
cultivation method that produces the greatest production compared to other
cultivation methods and farmers say that farming is profitable. From this, the
purposes of this research were to analyze production costs, revenues, income and
feasibility of farming with overlapping patterns of lowland rice and carp in
Kecamatan Parmaksian. The research location determined purposively, was
conducted in Kecamatan Parmaksian, Kabupaten Toba. The number of sample
farmers in the study were 63 of farmers. The data analysis method used is using a
mathematical formula for total costs, income, revenue and break event point (BEP)
analysis and cost ratio (R/C) analysis. The results showed that farming with
overlapping rotation patterns of lowland rice and carp is profitable and feasible to
cultivate, with an average total cost is Rp. 11,609,894.95/farmer, the average total
