Abstract

This study aims to determine the production level of brackish water tilapia pond cultivation, the income level of brackish water tilapia pond cultivation, and the feasibility of brackish water tilapia pond cultivation. The method used is the Coob-Douglas analysis method, income analysis, and feasibility analysis. The results of the study showed that the production level of the brackish water tilapia aquaculture pond business resulted in a quite high production because it was more than the standard provisions of the Minister of Maritime Affairs and the Republic of Indonesia Regulation, the income level of the brackish water tilapia aquaculture pond business was a business with a relatively high income. because the average monthly income of tilapia farmers has been already above the City Minimum Wage (UMK) standard for Kabupaten Deli Serdang in 2023, and brackish water tilapia aquaculture pond business is feasible to cultivate.
