Rancang Bangun Sistem Pemilihan Umum Elektronik Menggunakan E-KTP sebagai Upaya Mengurangi Pemilihan Ganda
Abstract
General elections (PEMILU) which are held directly, publicly, freely, confidentially,
honestly and fairly in the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia based on
Pancasila and the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia are a way of
implementing people's sovereignty. The purpose of making this tool is to find out how
to design an electronic election system using E-KTP in an effort to reduce multiple
voters, simplify the general election system in the community and know how to count
ballots efficiently in electronic elections. An electronic election model has been
realized using the RFID MFRC522 as a reader to read the E-KTP chip ID. The design
of the system created is able to overcome some of the weaknesses found in the
implementation of conventional elections and remains in accordance with the six
principles of elections in Indonesia, namely direct, public, free, confidential, honest
and fair. The model created in practice can shorten the election time, facilitate the
recapitulation of vote counting and has a lower cost compared to conventional
elections. The research made can be an alternative in conducting general elections.
After testing the system, it can be concluded that electronic ID card RFID can be used
as an alternative identification system.
