Monitoring Kadar CO dan CO2 Asap Pembakaran Plastik Menggunakan Sensor MQ-7 dan MQ-135
Abstract
Air pollution due to burning plastic waste has a harmful impact on health and the environment. This air pollution problem requires an innovative solution. In an effort to overcome this problem, this study aims to develop a plastic waste smoke filter using the Arduino platform. This filter is designed to remove microplastic particles from the smoke resulting from burning Polypropilene (PP), Polyethylene Terephthalate (PET) and Other plastic waste before being released into the air. with the aim of reducing its negative impact on the environment and human health. The filter development process uses sensors that are sensitive to microplastic particles of different sizes. The sensors used are the MQ-7 sensor and the MQ-9 sensor will be used to detect and measure the amount of microplastic particles in plastic waste smoke such as carbon monoxide (C0) and carbon dioxide (CO2) gases. The data obtained from the sensor will then be processed by Arduino, which functions as the brain of the system, to control the filter automatically. The development of a plastic waste smoke filter using Arduino can contribute to reducing air pollution due to plastic waste. The results of this research can be the basis for further technological development in the field of plastic waste treatment and environmental protection.
