Analisis Forecasting Produksi dan Konsumsi Kentang (Solanu,n tuberosum L.) di Provinsi Sumatera Utara

North Sumatra Province is one of the potato production centers in Indonesia and consumption of potatoes in North Sumatra Province is also high due to its population. This study aims to determine the trend of potato production and consumption in North Sumatra Province in 2007-2021 and to determine the projected production and consumption of potatoes in North Sumatra Province in 2023-2032 by forecasting analysis using the SPSS program application. The methos of determining the area used is purposive area sampling. The data used in this study are secondary data obtained from the Central Bureau of Statistics and the Department Food Security of North Sumatra Province. The results showed that in 2007-2021 in North Sumatra Province, potato production and consumption experinced a positive trend. For the years 2023-2032 in North Sumatra Province it shows that the forecasting of potato production and consumption is experiencing a positive trend. The results of the forecasting analysis show that potato production in North Sumatra Province can meet future potato consumption needs, namely in 2023-2032.
