Alat Exhaust Fan Otomatis pada Dapur Penggorengan Terintegrasi Pendeteksi Kebocoran Gas LPG dengan Wifi Berbasis Mikrokontroller ATMEGA328
Abstract
This study aims to develop an exhaust fan device that is integrated with an LPG gas
leak detector in a frying pan. This tool uses the ATmega328 microcontroller as the
controller and WiFi technology for a better network connection. This research was
conducted by directing smoke to the MQ-2 sensor. After 5 seconds, the MQ-2 sensor
detected smoke concentrations reaching 4,010.2 ppm. If the concentration exceeds
2000 ppm, the exhaust fan will activate and suck the smoke out of the room. The
MQ-6 sensor is used to detect the presence of LPG gas with a tolerance limit of 500
ppm. If the LPG gas concentration exceeds 500 ppm, the buzzer and exhaust fan
will be active. This test is carried out by varying the distance between the MQ-2
sensor and the smoke source from 1 to 11 cm. The sensor performance of MQ-2
and MQ-6 is 90% and 95%, respectively. Overall, it can be concluded that the MQ-
2 and MQ-6 sensors are only able to read LPG gas levels up to 20 cm and detect
the presence of smoke and LPG gas levels and reach 90%.
