dc.description.abstractCooking oil is one of the basic needs of the Indonesian people for cooking To meet daily needs, approximately 290 million tons of oil are consumed every year the year. Basically, people still use a lot of cooking oil repeatedly and the draining of cooking oil is not optimal. So that many people who consume processed food from frying still contain or leave oil in their food. This will cause the impact of disease, namely stroke and heart disease. The aim of this research is to design a spinner that fits the needs of a household kitchen. The tool used as an approach in the design of an oil slicer machine (spinner). The results of distributing questionnaires processed using the method obtained five attributes desired by users, namely attractive design with simple slicing machine tube components, practical when used, the machine is not noisy when operated, there is a rotation speed setting, and the machine is safe when running.en_US
