Abstract
In the industrial era 4.0, automation systems are no stranger to the industrial world. Automation in the field of technology is one of the realizations of technological developments, and makes an alternative to obtain work systems that are fast, accurate, effective and efficient, so that with an automation system more optimal results are obtained. Drying fish is one way of preserving fish which is done by reducing the water content of the fish so that the activity of microorganisms can be reduced. Preservation by drying is intended to extend the shelf life of fish. In this system, an automatic heating function is developed which is used for heating at night, because at night it is used as a drying agent. Drying is done to speed up the process of drying fish. In this study used rain and light sensors as well as servo motors and also heaters that function to heat fish when it rains and at night. The measurement results of the tool system have been running well. The rain start indicator is above 400 mm then the servo will have a value of 0°c, and the state is closed. And for the light value when it is below 400 mm, the servo will have a value of 0°c. When the roof is closed, the relay condition is HIGH and the lights are on.
