Peramalan Kebutuhan Energi Listrik yang Terjual di Kota Batam Menggunakan Metode Regresi Linier
Abstract
Electricity is the flow of electrons from atom to atom in a conductor or an energy that is very influential in everyday human life. All people in every province need electrical energy in all their activities, which has even become one of their basic needs. Batam is an industrial city with a population of around 1.2 million people. Industrial development in the city of Batam makes population growth continue to increase along with their need for electrical energy. So with that this study aims to determine the forecasting results of accumulated customers, connected power and kwh sold to anticipate the booming demand for electrical energy needs in the coming year. In this study predict sales data for electrical energy needs using the linear regression method. Simple linear regression is a relationship pattern that has a function, which only gets one independent variable and one dependent variable. The results of forecasting the demand for sold electrical energy are categorized as good where the results of the Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE) are not more than 10%. The conclusion of this study is that the results of forecasting the demand for electrical energy sold each year have increased both from the industrial sector and the household sector.
