Kesenian Ketoprak Dor sebagai Atraksi Warisan Budaya di Medan

Abstract

One of Medan's original cultural heritage arts is the ketoprak dor art. Born from the longing of Javanese contract laborers in overseas Sumatra, the art of ketoprak dor was born. The purpose of this study is to find out the history of the arrival of the ketoprak dor art in Medan and how the potential can make this art a cultural heritage attraction in the city of Medan. The research method is library (library research) and research by collecting data and field observations (field research). The results of this study are to introduce the art of ketoprak dor as a superior tourist attraction native to Medan. Ketoprak dor has the ability to absorb and explore various stories and cultural values from various ethnicities in Indonesia.
