dc.description.abstractCorn is a fairly important requirement for human and animal life. Corn has a fairly large nutritional and fiber content. Corn seeds generally contain about 1.2-5.0 % fat and nearly 86 P1 of the fat content of corn seeds is found in institutions. The purpose of this study was to obtain the best diameter in obtaining maximum corn grinding results on a Disk Mill type corn grinder. This study used a completely randomized non-factorial design. The pulley diameters used are 3 inches (P1), 5 inches (P2) and 7 inches (P3). In this study the best pulley on the treatment 3 pulley was 7 inches. The results of this study indicate that the largest effective tool capacity (1.8266 kg/hour) is on (P3) with a 7-inch pulley size, the largest yield (91.3 %) is on (P3) with a 7-inch pulley size and the largest percentage of material lost (46.67 %) on (P1) with a pulley size of 3 inches.en_US
