    Otomatisasi Kran Menggunakan Sensor Ultrasonik HC-SR04 berbasis Mikrokontroler Atmega 328p

    Abstract
    Ultrasonic sensor systems have been designed to control the water faucet. Implementation of activities includes the manufacture and testing of tools. Related to the manufacture of this tool because the current faucet in general is still operated manually. Manual faucet easily damaged if often rotated-turn, especially if that plays the less wise. Often people forget to turn off the faucet when finished using water. So that happens wasted water and will indirectly lead to waste of water. If this continues to happen, then it can be considered less effective and less efficient. Automatic water faucet can run if there is an object that prevents ultrasonic sensor HC-SR04 in active state.
     
    Telah dilakukan rancang bangun sistem sensor ultrasonik untuk mengontrol kran air. Pelaksanaan kegiatan meliputi pembuatan dan pengujian alat. Terkait dengan pembuatan alat ini dikarenakan saat ini kran pada umumnya masih dioperasikan secara manual. Kran manual mudah rusak jika sering diputar-putar, apalagi kalau yang memutar orang yang kurang bijak. Seringkali orang lupa untuk mematikan kran ketika selesai menggunakan air. Sehingga yang terjadi air terbuang sia-sia dan secara tidak langsung akan mengakibatkan pemborosan air. Jika hal ini terus terjadi, maka bisa dinilai kurang efektif dan kurang efisien. Kran air otomatis ini dapat berjalan jika ada objek yang menghalangi sensor ultrasonik HC-SR04 dalam keadaan aktif.
