Alat Penghitung Jumlah Jemaat pada Rumah Ibadah Berbasis Internet of Things yang Ditampilkan dalam Web
Abstract
This research aims to develop an IoT-based congregation counting tool that is displayed on the web using a proximity sensor. This tool is designed to help churches or religious communities manage congregation attendance more efficiently and provide accurate information in real-time. The method used in this research involves the application of IoT (Internet of Things) technology using proximity sensors. The proximity sensor is used to detect the presence of the congregation when they enter or pass through the church entrance. The data obtained from the proximity sensor will be sent via the internet network to the counter system. In addition, this research also involves the development of an intuitive web interface to display the congregation count information. The web interface provides access to information such as the number of congregants present, a comparison graph of attendance over time, and other statistical reports. The displayed data can provide a clear picture of congregation attendance and ease the church administration process. The data security factor is also a major concern in this research. Appropriate security measures are implemented to protect the collected attendance data, including the use of strong encryption and appropriate access protection. The results of this study were successfully designed and functioned properly. This counter tool utilizes a proximity sensor to detect the presence of the congregation automatically where when the congregation passes the sensor will automatically count the number of congregants who enter and set with the number set by each house of worship, and provide information in real time through lcd and web displays, making it easier to make decisions and evaluate church events.
