dc.description.abstractThis paper discusses the causes and ways in which the main character takes revenge in the drama series The Glory. The purpose of this study is to describe the causes and ways of the main character taking revenge in the Korean drama series titled The Glory. The method used by the writer in this paper is a qualitative descriptive method. The writer only focuses on one main character, namely Moon Dong-eun. Moon Dong-eun was bullied when she was in high school by Yeon-jin and her four friends. Moon Dong-eun was bullied physically, verbally, and sexually. Besides that, Dong-eun also experienced injustice from her homeroom teacher and from the police, and this caused a feeling of revenge within her. Dong-eun planned revenge to restore a sense of justice to herself. Dong-eun manages to take revenge in many ways. The first way is to incite Myeong-o to join her in destroying Yeon-jin, Sa-ra, and Jae-jong. The second is to make a deal with Hyun-nam so that she gathers information about Yeon-jin and her four friends, and the last is to uncover the secrets of Sa-ra, who is a drug addict, and Yeon-jin, who is a murderer.en_US
