dc.description.abstractResearch entitled Consumptive Behavior of Students towards the existence of coffeeshops. This phenomenon is based on the fact that many coffee shops have been established and have some consumers of productive age, including students. The objectives of this research include 1. To determine students' consumptive behavior towards the existence of coffee shops. 2. To find out the factors that influence students' consumptive behavior towards the existence of coffee shops. In addition, this research uses data collection techniques in the form of observation techniques, in-depth interviews (in depth) and documentation. The informants in this study were 10 USU FISIP students consisting of the 2019-2020 Batch. The results of the study show that factors that encourage consumptive behavior in visiting coffee shops among USU FISIP students include: a. a comfortable place, b. prices that are still affordable, c. services and facilities in the coffee shop, d. advertising media and social media. In addition, student consumptive behavior towards existence has an impact on consumptive behavior. namely: a. wasteful, b. Dependencyen_US
