This study aims to describe the description of love in the novel and explore the way the writer describes the feelings of love between the characters in the story. Love is a deep and complex theme in literature, and this study aims to understand how writers use language and literary style to describe the nuances of love in narratives. The research method used is qualitative research and library research. Novel samples were selected from various literary genres and periods to gain a comprehensive understanding of the different ways the authors describe love.
The depiction of love in novels also often involves physical depictions of characters who fall in love with each other, such as depictions of faces, eyes, smiles, or touches that reflect their feelings. In addition, the author also often describes the environment and atmosphere that creates a romantic atmosphere to reinforce existing feelings of love. This research provides a deeper understanding of how the image of love is depicted in the novel. The results of this study can provide insight to readers and writers on how to describe feelings of love in an interesting and alluring way in their literary works.
