The Description of Main Character’s Conflicts in The Movie John Wick (2014)

Abstract

The title of this paper is “The Description of Main Character’s Conflicts in The Movie John Wick (2014)”. This paper aims to describe the main character’s conflicts and how to solve the character’s conflicts in the movie John Wick (2014). This paper used qualitative method. The data is collected by the dialogues that are being conveyed and the expressions that are being shown by the main character, John Wick. This paper used the theory from Nurgiyantoro (2010). The results show two types of conflicts namely internal and external conflicts of John Wick as a legendary assassin who wants to take revenge as the problem solving of the conflict against a Russian gang that caused the dog which was the last gift of his late wife to die and his favorite car stolen.
