A Description of The Main Characters Conflict Portrayed in The Invisible Man Movie

Abstract

The title of this paper is "a description of the main characters conflict portrayed in the invisible man movie". This paper has a research objective to describe the conflicts experienced by the main characters, namely Cecilia Kass and Adrian Griffin. This paper also describes how these characters resolve the conflicts in the film. In writing this paper, the author uses a qualitative descriptive method (qualitative research). The source of this writing data was obtained from dialogues and scenes in the film The Invisible Man. This paper uses William Kenney's theory (1966:5) which states that there are two types of conflict, namely internal conflict and external conflict. After conducting research using the above methods and theories, each of the main characters is described as having internal conflicts and external conflicts. The results of this study indicate that when experiencing a romantic relationship that is not harmonious or a toxic relationship that makes partners feel uncomfortable, insecure, have no self-esteem, and trigger stress and anxiety disorders.
