A Description of Marhajabuan in The Simalungun Community in Berastagi

Abstract

This paper is entitled "Description of Marhajabuan in the Simalungun community in Berastagi". This paper aims to find out how the stages, meanings and functions of Marhajabuan are, so that readers understand and understand more deeply the description of a Simalungun traditional marriage. The author uses a qualitative descriptive research method. The author obtains information and collects data by reading articles and reading books and searching for information from Google. The conclusion in this paper is that marriage of the Simalungun tribe is carried out based on the laws of each religion and then carried out according to the customary law of the marriage of the Simalungun tribe.
