| dc.description.abstract | The title of this paper is “A Description of Metaphor in Zayn Malik’s Selected Song Through “Mind Of Mine” Album”. The songs used by the author are 'PILLOWTALK', 'dRuNk', 'LIKE I WOULD', 'BRIGHT', 'iT'sYoU', 'BeFoUr', 'sHe'. The problem and purpose of this study is to find out the form of the metaphor used in some of Zayn Malik's songs from this album. The method that the writer uses in this study is a qualitative description to obtain certain data by searching the internet, collecting several journals related to the description of metaphors in literary works. Then, the writer listens to the song repeatedly and quotes sentences or words that show some of the forms of the metaphor under study. The message to be conveyed through the use of this metaphor is about his love experience and especially his feelings for his girlfriend or ex-girlfriend. He also expressed his feelings about his life, his loneliness, his heartbreak, his hopes, his despair, and his regrets. | en_US |
