A Description of Main Characters’ Immoral Deeds in ‘The Menu’ Movie

Abstract

The title of this paper is “Description of the Immoral Main Character found in the movie 'The Menu'. The problem and purpose of this study is to find out the immoral nature of the main character depicted in the film. The method of this study is a qualitative description to get certain data, the writer watches the film repeatedly and quotes sentences or words that show immorality and then describes it. In the nature of the main character, there are two characters that are considered as the main character because they dominate the whole story. They are Anya Taylor as Margot and Ralph Fiennes as Chef Slowik. Menu releases in 2022 directed by Mark Mylod, written by Seth Reiss and Will Tracy, and produced by Adam McKay, Betsy Koch and Will Ferrell. The movie features an ensemble cast that includes Ralph Fiennes, Anya Taylor-Joy, Nicholas Hoult, Hong Chau, Janet McTeer, Reed Birney, Judith Light, and John Leguizamo. This film focuses on a young couple who are among an elite group of diners at an exclusive restaurant, the chef only wants to reveal his intention to brutally kill his guests.
