dc.description.abstractThis present paper discusses types of moral and their contrast through character in the film A Man Called Otto. There are seven types of moral such as cooperation, compassion, justice, responsibility, respect, freedom, honesty, humble. There are also some contrasts that is arrogant and irresponsibility. In order to describe these phenomena, the theory applied is related to moral or ethics. Besides, the method applied is known as qualitative because the writer of this paper describes the data taken from the dialogue of the film as well as the scene. These data are collected and then grouped in order to specify the description. It is found that moral types are related to man‟s behavior or the character to determine one‟s manner in accordance with the acceptable standard both individually and socially.en_US
