    Pengaruh Pemberian Pupuk Organik Cair (POC) Berbasis Cangkang Telur dan Ampas Tebu terhadap Produktivitas Tanaman Rumput Raja (Pennisetum purpuphoides)

    Abstract
    This study aims to determine the effect of applying liquid organic fertilizer (POC) based on eggshells and bagasse on the productivity of Pennisetum purpuphoides plants (plant height, number of leaves, leaf length, number of tillers, fresh production, and dry matter production). This research was conducted from November to March 2023 at the Experimental Field of the Faculty of Agriculture, University of North Sumatra and the Research Laboratory of the Faculty of Agriculture, University of North Sumatra. The design used in this research is RAL (Completely Randomized Design) with 4 treatments and 5 replicates. The treatment given in this study was liquid organic fertilizer (POC) with P0 being the control, P1 by giving 15% POC concentration, P2 by giving 30% POC concentration, and P3 by giving 45% POC concentration. The parameters observed in this study were plant height, number of leaves, leaf length, number of tillers, fresh production, and dry matter production. The results showed that each treatment gave a significant difference (P <0.05) on the number of leaves and the number of tillers but did not give a significant effect (P>0.05) on plant height, leaf length, fresh production, and dry matter production. The conclusion of this study shows that the treatment given can increase the number of leaves, the number of tillers, fresh production, and dry matter production up to a dose of liquid organic fertilizer (POC) of 45% but the treatment given gives the best results on plant height and leaf length only up to a dose of liquid organic fertilizer (POC) of 15%.
