dc.description.abstract | Feed is a key factor in the development of farms in Indonesia that affects
the growth and development of livestock. Provision of high-quality feed for cattle
is one of the factors that determine the success of farming enterprises and is the
most important component of the farming activity. The aim of this study is to find
out how the fermentation of palm mud with different types of cloves and different
dosages affects the content of Crude Protein (CP), Crude Fat (CF), and Crude
fiber in Black Soldier Fly maggot. (BSF). This study uses a complete random
design of a 3x3 factorial pattern with 3 repetitions with 2 factors. Three types of
cloves are used for factor A and three doses of clops are used to factor B. The
cloves used for faktor A are A1 (Pleurotus ostreatus), A2 (Lentinus edodes), and
A3 (Phanarochaeta crysosporium). The parameters analyzed in this study were
BSF maggot fresh weight, BSF maggot population density, Protei % content, fat
% content and crude fiber % content.
The results showed that there was a significant difference in the
population density of BSF maggot, an increase in CP of BSF maggot and a
decrease in CF in BSF maggot, but there was no significant difference in the fresh
weight of BSF maggot and a decrease in crude fiber in BSF maggot. The results
of this study have shown that the fermentation of palm mud using a type of
lentinus edodes cane at a dose of 7% can increase the production of raw protein,
increase production of fresh weight, increase the population density of BSF
maggot, and reduce raw fiber. | en_US |
