Analisis Faktor – Faktor yang Mempengaruhi Tingkat Fertilitas di Desa Sempung Polling Kecamatan Lae Parira Kabupaten Dairi

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out how factors of income, education, age at first marriage and lenght of use of contraception influence the fertility rate in Sempung Polling Village, Lae Parira District, Dairi Regency, both simultaneously and partially. This study uses a multiple liniear regression analysis model with data analysis using the SPSS 25 software program Data were obtained from The Central Statistics Agency (BPS) of Lae Parira District, the office of the Sempung Polling Village and from distributing questionnaires to 86 respondents who use contraception. Sampling was carried out using purposive sampling. The result of this study indicate that the income variable has a positive but not significant effect on fertility, then variable level of education and age at first marriage has a negative and significant effect on fertility, while the variable lenght of use of contraceptives has a positive and significant effect on fertility in Sempung Polling Village, Lae Parira District, Regency Dairy.
