Pengaruh Sektor Kepariwisatan terhadap Pendapatan Asli Daerah di Kabupaten Kabupaten Kawasan Pariwisata Nasional Sumatera Utara
Abstract
Since the end of the COVID 19 pandemic, one of the biggest contributors
to the economy is the tourism sector. This is because the tourism sector can open
jobs for victims of COVID-19 layoffs and attract the attention of tourists from
within the country and abroad. Based on these matters, this study aims to
determine how much influence the tourism sector has, such as the number of
tourists, tourist attractions, number of hotels, and number of restaurants on
Regional Original Revenue (PAD) in the Districts of the North Sumatra National
Tourism Region.
The type of research used is descriptive quantitative. The data used is
secondary data. This research is a panel data study using the panel data
regression analysis method which was carried out with Eviews 12.0 for the 2016-
2020 time period. Which focuses on 7 districts in the province of North Sumatra.
The model used in this study is the Common Effect Model (CEM)
The results showed that the variable number of tourists had a positive and
significant influence on Local Original Income (PAD), the number of tourist
attractions had a positive and insignificant influence on Regional Original
Income (PAD), the number of hotels had a positive and insignificant influence on
Regional Original Income (PAD), and the number of restaurants had a negative
and significant influence on Regional Original Income (PAD).
