Peran Karang Taruna dalam Membangun Solidaritas Pemuda Dusun Rimba Tikamiang , Kecamatan Tambusai Utara,Kabupaten Rokan Hulu

Abstract

Youth is one of the pillars that has a big role in the journey of national and state life so that the progress of a country is more or less determined by the thoughts and active contributions of youth in the State of Indonesia. The presence of Karang Taruna as a social organization is a forum for the development of the younger generation which grows and develops on the basis of awareness and social responsibility from, by and for the community, especially the younger generation. due to differences in interests, and high selfish attitude. The existence of this research is to determine the condition of community solidarity in Dusun 3 Rimba Tikamiang and to find out the factors that can be a threat to the waning of social solidarity in the community in Dusun 3 Rimba Tikamiang. The method used in this study is a descriptive qualitative approach method. Qualitative research is a research procedure capable of producing descriptive data in the form of speech, writing and behavior of the people being observed. The results of this study indicate that the solidarity of the youth of Rimba Tikamiang Hamlet was rebuilt by efforts to carry out joint activities in youth organizations such as sports activities, and the celebration of the Republic of Indonesia's independence day. The factors that encourage solidarity in youth organizations are the sensitivity and togetherness of youth to make the organization more advanced and useful for the wider community, support from the local government, and support from the community itself by participating in youth activities. The inhibiting factors are egoism which is still high among youth, materialism in making friends, and the influence of globalization.
