dc.description.abstractThe problems in this research are pension recipients who have difficulty using the Taspen authentication application, an unstable network, and the absence of special employees to carry out Enrollment. This research aims to determine the suitability and need for Taspen Authentication in receiving pension funds. The research method used in this research is qualitative research with a descriptive approach. Data sources are obtained from primary data and secondary data. The research informants were determined using purposive sampling and snowball sampling techniques. Data collection was carried out using interview, observation and documentation techniques. Data analysis uses stages of data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. Testing the validity of the data uses triangulation techniques, namely source triangulation and method triangulation. The results of this research indicate that the suitability and need for the Taspen authentication program in pension fund receipt services is to fulfill the needs of pension fund recipients for comfortable enrollment and an easy authentication process. The stages in the Enrollment and authentication process are carried out differently according to their respective procedures. The implementation of Enrollment carried out at the PT Taspen (Persero) Medan Main Branch office is not optimal because there are no special employees to handle the Enrollment process. Furthermore, in the authentication process there are still pension recipients who still have difficulty using smartphones so they need help from other people to carry out authentication. Taspen authentication trials are not carried out in all Taspen offices, and there is no special room for the Enrollment process.en_US
