Analisis Regrsi Logistik untuk Menentukan Faktor-Faktor yang Mempengaruhi Mahasiswa USU dalam Memilih Bahan Bakar Minyak (BBM)

Abstract

Fuel oil is fuel originating and/or processed from petroleum. The fuel that is often used by motorized vehicles, especially 2-wheeled vehicles with different RON, such as pertalite (RON 90), Pertamax (RON 92),). In recent times there have been several increases and decreases in fuel prices both at gas stations. It affects fuel consumption. Many factors influence consumer decisions in choosing fuel, therefore it needs to be analyzed to determine the factors that influence consumer decisions in choosing fuel. This research was conducted to determine the factors that influence consumer decisions in choosing fuel with the binary logistic regression model and the factors that influence it with the linear log model. Binary logistic regression is a data analysis method used to find the relationship between the response variable (Y) which is binary or dichotomous with several predictor variables (X). The linear log model is used to analyze the relationship between categorical variables. From a binary logistic regression model, it is obtained that the influential variables are cylinder capacity (CC), vehicle age, pocket money, the variable with the greatest opportunity 0.78862 is premium consumers with private jobs, vehicle age more than 5 years and income less than 1,500,000 . for the linear log model, it has the greatest opportunity of 0.91259, is a premium consumer for , the age of the vehicle is more than 5 years and the income is less than 1,500,000.
