Hubungan Program JKK dan JKM terhadap Kesejahteraanpekerja ( Jasa Konstruksi – Kereta Api ) di Kota Medan
Abstract
The Indonesian government offers protection to its citizens in the form of
social security. The aim is to meet all the basic health and welfare needs of people
while working. Through systems and institutions that aim to guarantee the social
life of its citizens. This research uses two independent variables, namely Work
Accident Insurance (JKK) and Death Insurance (JKM), with one dependent
variable, namely worker welfare.
The type of research used is quantitative descriptive. The population used
in this research was 212 people and the research sample used the Random
Sampling method and used the Slovin formula with a total of 68 people. By using
data analysis, namely data quality test, validity test and Spearman's rank test. This
research data was obtained from the results of research questionnaires to
respondents and interviews with workers (construction services - railway) in
Medan City.
Based on the results of research conducted by researchers using the
Spearman's shelf correlation test, the results showed that the Work Accident
Insurance (JKK) and Death Guarantee (JKM) programs had a significant and
positive correlation with the welfare of (construction - railway service workers) in
the city of Medan.
