dc.description.abstractThis final project discusses issues related to the development of wakamono kotoba. The purpose of writing this paper is to explain the formation structure, development factors, and functions of the wakamono kotoba, especially the development of the wakamono kotoba. The method used in writing this paper is the literary method. The results obtained from writing this paper are that there are 14 processes of forming wakamono kotoba according to Yonekawa Akihiko, namely 借用 (Shakuyou), 省略 (Shouryaku), 読み換え (Yomikae), 言い換 (Iikae), もじり (Mojiri), 語呂合わせ (Goroawase), 混交 (Konkou), 倒置 (Touchi), 頭字化 (Kashirajika), 動詞の派生 (Doushi No Hasei), 名詞の派生 (Meishi No Hasei), 形容詞・形容動詞の派生(Keiyoushi / Keiyoudoushi No Hasei),同氏の複合 (Doushi No Fukugou), and 音の転化 (Oto No Tenka). Social media and foreign languages are important factors in influencing the development of wakamono kotoba. And wakamono kotoba also has functions, namely emotive functions, referential functions, and fatigue functions.en_US
