dc.description.abstractThis study aims to determine the Secretary's Professional Ethics in Providing Administrative Services at the General Bureau of the Regional Secretariat of North Sumatra Province. This study uses a qualitative approach with a deductive method. A qualitative approach is a problem-solving approach based on an intangible number description. While the deductive method is discussing the problems to be studied by writing the topics of discussion that are described in general and then drawing a specific conclusion. The results of this study indicate that the secretarial profession and administrative services provided at the General Bureau of the Regional Secretariat of North Sumatra Province are very important. A secretary is needed to handle archives, scheduling matters, correspondence, office administrative matters to the personal affairs of the leadership. In carrying out his position a secretary for the General Bureau is never separated from the obligations that must be fulfilled and to maximize his performance, the secretary for the General Bureau must be more careful because there are provisions regarding prohibitions in his position.en_US
