This study aims to see the determinants of Corporate Turnaround with Assets
Retrenchment as a moderating variable in manufacturing companies on the
Indonesia Stock Exchange. The independent variables in this study are Severity,
Firm Size and Free Assets. While the dependent variable in this study is Corporate
Turnaround. The moderating variable used is Assets Retrenchment. The population
in this study are manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange
in 2009-2019. From the results of the research sample selection, 67 companies
were sampled in this study. The research method used is logistic regression. The
results of this study indicate that simultaneously Severity, Firm Size and Free Assets
have a significant effect on Turnaround. Partially Severity and Free Assets have a
positive and significant effect on Turnaround. Meanwhile, Firm Size has no
significant effect on Turnaround. Moderation test results state that Assets
Retrenchment is not a moderating variable. All independent variables are able to
influence turnaround by 4.8%, the remaining 95.2% is influenced by other
variables that are not used in this study
