dc.description.abstractThe Purpose of this research is to analize the effect of capital spending, employee spending, goods spemding, and the payment of local government debt to flypaper effect of regency and city goverments in Sumatera Island. The research methodology used was casually associative. The observation was done to 154 regencies and citiesin Sumatera Island during 2019-2021, which was consist of 121 regencies and 33 cities. All of the population were used as samples. The data were processed using logistic regression test with the assistance of STATA application. The results of this analysis indicates that capital spending, goods shopping, and government investment take significantly and positively influence to flypaper effect. Meanwhile the payment of local government debt take positive but not significant influence to flypaper effect. Simultaneusly, capital spending, employee spending, goods shopping, government investment, the payment of government debt have positive and significant influence to flypaper effect.en_US
